President Duterte named four personalities involved in illegal drugs.

 The four are retired PNP deputy director general Marcelo Garbo Jr., PNP regional director Bernardo Diaz, former NCR-Po chief Joel Pagdilao and Vicente Loot, Daanbantayan town mayor.

This was revealed during the Philippine Air Force’s 69th Anniversary.

Duterte said one of the police generals include former Philippine National Police (PNP) deputy director general Marcelo Garbo, Jr

He said Garbo was a “protector of drug syndicates.”

The other four were identified as police generals Vicente Loot, Bernardo Diaz, Edgardo Tinio, and former National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Joel Pagdilao

Garbo and Loot have left the police service. Loot is the newly elected mayor of Daangbantayan town in Cebu.

“Hanapin ninyo ang tao kasi overnight I was really trying to figure out—I do not necessarily humiliate you. It’s not my practice,” Duterte added.

“As [of] this time, I order them relieved from their assignments and report to the director general [Ronald Dela Rosa],” Duterte said.
“I would like to talk them and certainly, I would expect the [National Police Commission to do their thing; imbestigahan ninyo ito at wag ninyo akong bigyan ng zarzuela,” he added.
